Marie Osmond has been in the public eye since she was a child. She is the younger sister of Donny Osmond who was the youngest of the Osmond Brothers pop group that was very popular in the 1970s. She is twice-divorced and the mother of 7 children, a few of whom have been adopted.

She hit her career peak in the mid 1970s with the variety show called “Donny and Marie” which featured her and her brother, Donny. The show ran from 1976 to 1979 and was considered to be a big hit. Later, she acted in a few made-for-TV movies throughout the 1980s and co-founded the Children’s Miracle Network. She also hosted a syndicated radio talk show but it did not last for long.

Her second husband also accused her of being mentally unfit.
